Return & Exchange Policy

We aim to ensure a smooth returns and exchange process for all our customers. Kindly note the following:
General Policy

  • All items sold are strictly non-refundable.
  • Change-of-mind exchanges are not allowed.

    Valid Return Scenarios
    Returns are only accepted under these circumstances:
  • The product received does not match the website’s specifications or description.
  • You received the wrong item.
  • The product is defective or damaged upon arrival.

    Return Eligibility Criteria
    To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:
  • The request must be made within 7 business days from self-collection or delivery.
  • A valid proof of purchase or tax invoice must be presented.
  • All free gifts, accessories, vouchers, and bundled products must be included.
  • The item must be in its original, sellable condition with all original packaging intact.
  • If an item was wrongly shipped, do not unseal, open, or use the item. Opened or clearly used items, or those with damaged/missing packaging or parts, will not be eligible for return.

Warranty Policy

All keyboards—whether prebuilt or customized via our Build-A-Board (BAB) program—are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. Warranty claims will be assessed and processed by our team at The Laboratory.

Warranty Claim Requirements

  • Must be accompanied by a physical or electronic receipt.
  • Bring the item, original packaging, and accessories for evaluation.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty is void under the following circumstances:

  • Product is subjected to abuse, liquid damage, extreme temperatures, or other improper usage.
  • Damage resulting from Force Majeure events such as natural disasters, vandalism, theft, or electrical surges.

Shipping Policy

Local Orders

  • In Stock orders will be processed and shipped within 2–3 working days.
  • In rare cases of logistical or staffing issues, processing may extend to up to 5 working days.

Store Pickup

  • Self-collection is available with proof of purchase.
  • Third-party pickups via Grab, Lalamove, or e-hailing services are allowed, but:
  1. Fees are borne by the customer.
  2. We are not responsible for damage or lost items during such transit.

International Orders

We currently use Easyshipl (third-party app) and DHL Express for international orders.

Fulfilment Timeline

  • Orders will be fulfilled within 2–5 working days (excluding public holidays).

Shipping Rates & Taxes

  • Rates and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout.
  • Customs taxes and duties are the buyer’s responsibility. Contact us before ordering if you need clarification.

Damaged Orders

  • The Laboratory is not liable for damage caused during international transit.
  • We will ensure all products are quality checked and securely packed.
  • In the event of damage, please contact your courier and our team immediately with photos. Keep all original packaging for claims.

By choosing to pay via non-credit/debit card methods, you agree to the terms outlined below:

Applicable Payment Methods
This includes (but is not limited to):
Bank transfers, wire transfers, PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Grab Wallet, ShopBack, Atome, cryptocurrency, and any other non-credit card options.

Policy Terms

  • All Sales Are Final: No refunds will be issued for non-credit card payments.
  • No Chargeback Rights: You waive the right to raise any chargeback, dispute, or reversal of funds.
  • Purchase Responsibility: You are responsible for verifying payment details before completing the transaction.

    Exceptions
  • Refunds may only be considered in cases of duplicate transactions or processing errors, and solely at our discretion.
