Warranty & Returns Policy

Return Policy

At The Laboratory by ReFormd, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. We aim to maintain an effortless returns & exchange process for customers who require it. Our policy is as follows:

  • All items sold are strictly non-refundable and change-of-mind exchanges are not applicable.
  • Returns are only accepted in the event of these following scenarios:
  • The product does not match the website specifications or descriptions.
  • You received the wrong item in your package / delivery.
  • The product received is defective or damaged on arrival.
  • For a return or exchange to be eligible, it must:
  • Be initiated within 7 business days of self collection or delivery.
  • Be presented with valid proof of purchase or tax invoice.
  • Include all free gifts (if any), all accessories, vouchers (if any) and bundled products (if any).
  • Be in original and sellable condition & accompanied by all original packaging.

If item(s) are wrongly shipped, please ensure that there is no attempt to unseal / open / use
the item. If the item is returned to us in a non-sellable condition (items missing, packaging defaced / damaged, item clearly used), we will not be able to process the return.

Warranty

All keyboards, prebuilt or customised via BAB (Build-A-Board), come with their respective manufacturer warranties. All warranty claims will be processed on-site by our staff at The Laboratory.

The manufacturer warranty is void if:

  1. The product is deemed to have been subjected to abuse, improper use (such as being subjected to liquids, extreme temperatures, or other extreme conditions), or environmental conditions beyond the manufacturer’s approved use.
  2. The defect(s) were subjected to Force Majeure, such as floods, earthquakes and other natural disasters, vandalism, theft, or damage caused by voltage disturbances.

When making a Warranty Claim, a receipt, electronic or physical, must be presented.
To ensure a smooth warranty process, please bring your receipt, item, its packaging, as well
as any accompanied accessories.

Shipping Policy for The Laboratory

Processing / Fulfilment Time
In Stock orders will be fulfilled and shipped out within 2-3 working days. In some cases of staffing accidents, lead times may be extended up to 5 days.

Damages
The Laboratory is not responsible for items that are damaged during transit. All orders are packed and checked efficiently before courier collection. Kindly contact the courier for any damaged orders.

For PickUp orders, collection can be made with proof of purchase presented in store. Grab/Lalamove/e-hailing collection is permitted, however, the fee will be borne by the customer and The Laboratory will not be responsible for any damage or lost items in transit.

International Orders - Easyshipl (3rd-party fulfilment app) or DHL Express

For In Stock orders, we will fulfill and ship out your product within 2-5 working days. We will not ship during public holidays.

Shipping Rates and Duties
Shipping Rates and Delivery Times for different countries will be available at checkout.
Customs Taxes and Duties will be borne by the buyer. Do consult us if you have any questions.

Damages
The Laboratory is not responsible for items damaged in transit. We will do our best to QC our products, and ensure they are packed well with sufficient protection. Should your product arrive damaged, do contact your courier and us for claims. Always keep the original packaging for filing claims.
